· The AGM will also have professional development seminars including a full day 'Contracting & Procurement Workshop for Communities'.   

· Communities must be a member of LGANT to attend the Annual General Meeting portion (SAO’s, Town Managers and/or Band Managers or other designated senior administrative staff person).   If you are not a member and would like to become a new member of the Association—we are offering a special rate of $125.00 per community.   Communities that are already members (2006-2007) but have not yet renewed their membership for 2007-2008 are reminded to forward $250.00 to the Association.

Travel Assistance

Travel Expense Form

LGANT does not provide travel assistance for SAO's to attend the AGM.  We are a non-profit organization.      However, we are pleased to inform you the Association has secured travel assistance from MACA to assist with travel to Yellowknife.  Travel assistance includes:  air and/or road travel, accommodations (room & tax only - 3 nights maximum).   Travel assistance DOES NOT include: per diem expenses incurred by participants or honorariums.    

Only one delegate per local community government is eligible to receive travel assistance– SAO, Town Manager, Band Manager, CEO or other designated senior administrative staff person.
