The 2008 LGANT AGM & Professional Development will take place in Yellowknife, October 28—30, 2008. Members will be receiving full information including registration, travel, accommodations in September. Professional Development & Topic Suggestions needed! At this time the Board is requesting from communities ideas for professional development training/workshops and sessions/seminars to be hosted as part of the AGM. Remember, this is your AGM! Communities must be a member of LGANT to attend the Annual General Meeting portion (SAO’s, Town Managers and/or Band Managers or other designated senior administrative staff person). If you are not a member and would like to become a new member of the Association—we are offering a special rate of $125.00 per new member. Communities that have not yet renewed their membership for 2008-2009 are reminded to forward $250.00 to the Association.
