2021 Conference & AGM
The Local Government Administrators of the NWT is excited to share our Annual Professional Development Conference and AGM update with you! It is set to take place in September from 20 – 23, 2021 at the Explorer Hotel in Yellowknife, NT. The conference is being planned to go ahead in line with the Covid-19 restrictions as outlined by the Chief Public Health Officer on indoor gatherings. It is anticipated indoor gatherings of up to 200 people will be permitted by this time. This conference is a forum to bring people together to share knowledge, best practices, hear from experts and network with colleagues from across the territory. 2020 Conference & AGM
We are happy to announce that our Conference and AGM was a huge success
This year’s conference took place on September 21st, 2020 to September 25th, 2020, and was fully online with daily pre-recorded sessions being sent to all of our members. The topics of this years sessions were: Healthy Communication, Strategic Planning and Effectively Creating Goals, and Mental Health First Aid.
We were also able to hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) with voting for four Director positions on our board using Zoom (online video conference platform).
The sessions and/or links to the sessions were sent to members each morning during that week and you were able to watch at your convenience.
