The Incorporated Hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk requires a qualified Senior Administrative Officer with a strong background in municipal administration, accounting, financial management and proven success as an effective communicator and civic promoter.
Reporting to the Mayor and Council, the successful candidate will direct, administer and coordinate all affairs of the Incorporated Hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of municipal administration, including management of human resources, operations, and projects in accordance with Hamlets Act, Council By-Laws and Policies.

Acho Dene Koe First Nation is recruiting for the position of Manager, Lands & Environmental Stewardship. The Manager, Lands & Environmental Stewardship will receive mentorship from the Advisor/Director and will continue to be supported by various content and technical experts from Shared Value Solutions. This role, reporting to the First Nation’s General Manager and supported by a mentor/advisor, requires strong management and administrative skills, as well as knowledge of Acho Dene Koe's land use, history, and culture. The Manager, Lands & Environmental Stewardship's key duty is to uphold Acho Dene Koe’s rights on Crown lands within their traditional territory in the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, and Yukon.

Heavy Equipment Operator

The Town of Hay River is accepting applications for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator on a permanent full-time basis. 

The Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) is responsible for using/operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to ensure quality municipal services for residents of the Town. Reporting to the Supervisor of Public Works, the HEO operates heavy equipment including trucks, front-end loaders, graders, snowblowers, hydrovacs, rubber tired backhoes and other pieces of equipment. The HEO must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by legislation, policies and procedures.
